DESCRIPTION
There's a mystery in the kingdom, and Gumluck the Wizard is on the case! In The Story of Gumluck and the Portrait Thief, bestselling author and illustrator Adam Rex returns with another wonderfully silly adventure filled with magic, friendship, and unexpected trouble.
When the queen's portrait disappears from the museum, everyone is a suspect. Could the thief be a terrible troll, a proud prince, or a mischievous raccoon? Gumluck teams up with his faithful friend Helvetica the Raven, her three clever chicks, and Butterscotch, the little ghost who lives in his hair, to solve the mystery.
Of course, Gumluck's magic doesn't always work quite as planned. When he tries to create a painting, he accidentally makes a monster instead! With magical mishaps piling up, Gumluck and his friends must use their creativity and determination to uncover the truth.
Packed with whimsical illustrations, laugh-out-loud moments, and plenty of heart, this fourth installment in the Gumluck the Wizard series is perfect for newly independent readers. Its accessible storytelling and imaginative adventures make it an entertaining choice for children who love funny fantasy books and magical mysteries.

"Love the rotating seasonal items and the consistent supply of specialty office supplies!! Jerrol's makes it fun to pick up page protectors-- if I happen to also purchase a chicken-shaped mug or gorgeous wildflower apron while I'm there as well, that's just a happy accident lol :)"
"In one quick visit, I was able to get help finding art supplies for a new project as well as order some new release books for my daughters for Christmas. It’s great to have a small business in town that can do all that!"
"What a fun quirky place. Art supplies, RC cars, and puzzles, yep! Need a coffee while browsing the vintage clothing, sure! Office furniture, yep! Need some university gear, they have that too! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area."
“I came in for something specific and left with exactly what I needed. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.”
