PRODUCT INFORMATION
Origami is the ancient Japanese art of paper folding practiced since the Edo era 1603-1867. The goal of this art is to create a given result using geometric folds and creased patterns preferably without the use of gluing or cutting the paper medium. Origami refers to all types of paper folding even those of non-Asian origin. In general these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be different colors. Origami butterflies were once used during the celebration of shinto weddings to represent the bride and groom. Yasutomo takes most the work out of this art form by pre-cutting the paper for you. Available in a wide variety of sizes and styles. Great for the individual child or for parties and group activities.
