- Battery: Compatible with 6–7 cell NiMH or 2-cell LiPo batteries
- Charger: Traxxas EZ-Peak® charger 2970 recommended
- Transmitter Batteries: Four AA alkaline batteries

- Clipless Late Model Race Body: Quick-release body with tube-style bumpers, reinforced supports, roll cage with molded driver, full-width rear wing, secure fit, and no body posts or clips.
- Extreme Heavy-Duty Parts Installed: Strengthened C-hubs, axle carriers, steering blocks, and Extreme Heavy-Duty driveshafts.
- BL-2s™ Waterproof ESC: Waterproof electronic speed control with EZ-Set® setup, optional cooling fan compatibility, LiPo and NiMH support, low-voltage detection, and Sport, Race, and Training Mode™ drive profiles.
- Battery Compatibility: Works with 6–7 cell NiMH and 2s LiPo battery packs.
- 3300 Kv Brushless Motor: Low-maintenance brushless motor with integrated cooling fan and efficient ball bearings.
- TQ™ Radio System: 2-channel 2.4 GHz transmitter with internal antenna, 3-channel micro receiver, and fail-safe security.
- Magnum 272R™ Transmission: Low-CG heavy-duty case with aluminum motor plate, case-supported bearings, fixed gear mesh, high-strength steel gears, sealed bevel-gear differential, and easy differential access.
- Steering: Chassis-mounted 2075 servo with dual bellcrank steering and integrated servo saver.
- Low-CG Chassis: Modular composite tub chassis with secure battery hold-down latch and side nerf bars for impact resistance.
- Suspension: Heavy-duty suspension arms, 4 mm adjustable steel turnbuckles, and captured links that resist popping off.
- Aluminum GTR Shocks: PTFE-coated threaded shocks with titanium nitride-coated shafts, adjustable spring collars, and 70% more oil capacity than standard Ultra Shocks™.
- Driveline: Torque Control™ slipper clutch for durable power delivery.
- Wheels and Tires: Graphite gray steelie dirt oval wheels with licensed Hoosier® Angle Block racing tires for predictable oval-track performance.
- Hardware: Rubber-sealed bearings and hex hardware with rust-resistant black oxide coating.
