PRODUCT INFORMATION
Roger Browning is a successful North Texas rancher. He has hand-written hundreds of books, showing them to no one, and throwing them away out of a belief that they could not possibly be any good. Over the thirty some years he had been putting the stories from his mind onto paper, he had never allowed anyone to see them or know of them. For some reason, he decided to take a chance and read one page from one of the thirty or so spiral notebooks perched on the dash of his old Ford Bronco to an outdoor columnist/small publisher from Washington State and that man's son-in-law. Stunned at how they found themselves standing alongside the protagonist on that first read page, the two quickly disabused Browning of his attitude toward his writing. This first published Roger Browning novel is that story - Rance's story.
