Read Along With Grammy on Ellensburg Community Radio
Need some quiet time at home with the kids? Let local grandmas read them a story! Did you know that Jerrol’s has teamed up with Ellensburg Community Radio to offer “Read Along With Grammy?" Each week, a new children’s book is read aloud on the air—perfect for kids to listen along at home. Even better? Local grandparents get the chance to be the storytellers!

Over the next couple weeks, “Grammy” will be reading several books that you can also pick up at Jerrol's:

Blueberries for Sal by Robert McCloskey

Wherever You Go by Pat Miller

If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura Joffe Numeroff

A Camping Spree With Mr. Magee by Chris Van Dusen

Grumpy Monkey: Spring Fever by Suzanne Lang!

"This program is geared toward offering local grandmothers and grandfathers the opportunity to read children's books to their grandchildren, wherever they may live! Grandparents choose a book they wish to read over the air. Grandchildren are encouraged to follow along at home. Currently our program airs live on Thursdays at 11:45 AM with a recorded version airing at 4:30 PM. Grandparents interested in joining us, please contact Kath Fraser at mskathfraser@gmail.com. Always looking for new readers!"
