Corrie’s Craft of the Month - Pretty Envelopes for Valentine's Day
Posted by ROLF WILLIAMS

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, why not send a real letter using the actual Post Office? Maybe someone you know needs to hear an “I love you” or “you make my life better” from you this month. Here are some pretty envelopes you can make for this fun idea.
Supplies:
• A blank envelope (as your template)
• Pretty paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Ruler
Steps:
1). Start by unfolding your envelope and tracing it onto your choice of pretty paper. I used old book pages, magazine pages and scrap paper. You could also use wrapping paper, wallpaper or newspaper.
2). Cut out your new envelopes.
3). Using the ruler, fold each side in to make the shape of your envelope.
4). Glue the side flaps and fold up your bottom edge to make your envelope.
5). Add a small note or Valentine and put it in the mail to make someone’s day special.
